‘Samuel Helped At Church’
(1 Samuel 1:20-28; 2:11, 18-21, 26; 3:1-2, 15, 19)
Hannah had a baby boy and named him Samuel. When he was
a little boy, Samuel went with his mother and father to the church.
Eli was a teacher at the church. Hannah wanted Samuel
to be Eli’s helper at church. Eli could show Samuel what to do to help at
church.
Samuel was a good helper for Eli. Every morning Samuel
would open the doors for the church. Samuel listened to Eli and did those
things Eli told him to do.
As Samuel grew, he kept helping Eli. Eli kept teaching
Samuel about God. Samuel learned more and more about God.
